“BiZone” Limited Liability Company (“BiZone” LLC or we) places a high priority on information security and is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your Personal Data.

Personal Data Controller

“BiZone” LLC, registered at Office 515, 4, Bld. 2, Olkhovskaya St., Moscow, 105066, Russia, receives and processes Personal Data in the course of its business. This Privacy Policy (Statement) explains what Personal Data we collect, how and why we utilize it, and how we protect your privacy while you use NANO Antivirus.

This Statement has been developed in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152‑FZ On Personal Data dated July 27, 2006 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR or Regulation (EU) 2016/679) dated April 27, 2016 and is intended to protect the rights and freedoms of individuals in connection with the Processing of their Personal Data.

Terms and definitions

Personal Data. Any information directly or indirectly related to an identified or identifiable individual (data subject).

Processing. Any operation or set of operations performed on Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, including collection, recording, organization, accumulation, storage, rectification (updating or alteration), retrieval, application, modification, anonymization, blocking, erasure, and transfer.

How and why we use your information

1. Information you provide to us

Files submitted for malicious-code scanning
Technical information (IP addresses, browser versions, etc.) sent to technical support via a log collection utility or transmitted automatically with your consent

We are technically unable to identify individual users based on the information received.

2. Collection purposes and information usage

Files received from you are scanned for malicious code to provide you with an online verdict on the submitted file or to update antivirus databases without notice.

Technical information is used to identify issues you may encounter and to recommend possible solutions.

Such files and technical information may be subject to additional analysis and used for statistics, product improvement, and similar purposes without notice.

3. Information storage and protection

Your information is stored on our servers and securely protected against potential unauthorized disclosure using all available technical and organizational measures. Most of the information we receive is retained only for the period of your interaction with the services and is deleted once such interaction terminates.

4. Usage control and disclosure

In certain cases specifically prescribed by the laws of Russia we may, in response to a specific request, disclose information we receive to law enforcement authorities for purposes such as preventing or investigating criminal activity. In all other cases, the information is used strictly for internal purposes by a limited number of our authorized employees and is neither transferred nor disclosed to third parties.

5. Modification limitations

Once a file has been submitted for scanning, we are technically unable to identify the sender and therefore cannot, at your request, modify, delete, or return any files received from you. By submitting files for scanning, you agree to this condition.

We may amend this Statement without notice. The current version of this Statement is posted on this webpage.
